My name is Gayla "Michelle" Ferguson.   I was born the youngest of six in Belen, New Mexico.  I have lived in Arizona, Oregon, California, and Texas, where I graduated high school.  I moved to Georgia in 1993 from California, where I lived for 11 years. I have 2 sons. Mark, my oldest, lives in Dallas, Texas while my youngest, Adam, lives in Chatsworth, GA with his wife Christine.  

I have been employed at Shaw Ind for over 14 years and have been with LifeTouch for over 5 years. In 2000, I decided to do something that I had always enjoyed, giving massages.  I went to a school in Chattanooga that was then the Tennessee Institute of Healing Arts.  I went to school for a year while working at Shaw full time.  Working 12 hour days and going to school for 5 1/2 hours a day took a lot out of me, but in the end I found a real gift that I never knew I held; pure determination had paid off.  

Massage is so beneficial not only to the client I'm working on, but to myself as well. I learned Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy Massage, pregnancy and infant massage, as well as Geriatric Massage.  I also learned Repetitive Use Injury Therapy and Spa treatments.  What I enjoy most about massage is knowing that I have helped someone. The healing that occurs while I give massages doesn't just come from me, but from Jesus, who I feel gives me the strength that I need to do these massages.
