Hello my name is Dr. Shana Morris, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about LifeTouch Chiropractic and the doctors affiliated with this wonderful organization.
I was born in Chattanooga, TN and was raised in Ringgold, GA on a family farm. We had chickens, cows, goats, dogs, and cats. I`ve been an animal lover ever since I was born. I think I was put on this earth to save all the furry four legged creatures. My parents use to get so irritated with me, because I was always bringing home another animal that we had to save. I`m still the same. Not much has changed since I was a child. I currently have 8 cats and 2 dogs. One day, I hope to have a farm of my own.
I graduated from Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School in 1987. I can`t believe my 20 year union is coming soon. I went on to Chattanooga State where I received my Associate`s Degree in Physical Therapy. I`ve worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and even some home health situations. Physical Therapy has greatly added to my knowledge and truly compliments my chiropractic career.
While I was attending school at Chattanooga State, I took a part-time job working for a local chiropractor. I learned about the science and philosophy of chiropractic and fell in love with the purity and truth of the profession. I felt compelled to continue my education and went on to earn my Doctorate of Chiropractic in December of 1996 from Life University.
I worked with a couple of different offices in Georgia and Tennessee until I decided to open my own office in June of 1999 in Dalton, GA. My office was called TLC Chiropractic. I had my office for 4 years then merged with the LifeTouch group. I`ve been working with LifeTouch for over 4 years. It is such a blessing to work for LifeTouch and to be a part of a purpose driven organization. It is nice to work with others whom are like-minded and are dedicated to providing excellent care to the community.
There are many facets to being healthy. Releasing spinal structural stresses through chiropractic is necessary to allow the proper nerve energy to flow throughout the mind and body. One must also receive good nutrition, exercise regularly, rest well, and have a positive attitude to achieve optimal health. At LifeTouch Chiropractic, we will do our best to help you meet your specific health goals. I look forward to working with you.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Shana Morris
