Dr. Dotson was one of five children. Raised the son of a minister, he learned at an early age how to live a life helping people. When it came time to decide what profession he would pursue, the health field was a perfect fit. “I knew I wanted to be a doctor, but up to this point the only doctors I knew were medical doctors. In my experience with them the job seemed a little boring. I would sit on a table where I would be examined and then I would get a prescription. This wasn't really what I wanted to do”. 

While on the college rowing team Dr. Dotson had a teammate who's family was changed by a chiropractor, so he explored the profession. “When I went to meet the chiropractor for the first time I thought I was wasting my time and his, but when I talked to him and watched him with patients I saw that there was something getting done. From that moment I decided I would be a chiropractor”. 

Dr. Dotson received his Bachelor`s degree in Biology from George Mason University in 1998. He then moved to Marrieta, GA and graduated from Life University in 2002.  He now lives in Dalton, GA with his wife, Jennifer, and son, Noah, and has been with LifeTouch since 2003.
